Need help finding a sideboard!

I am having a hard time finding a sideboard for our dinning room that I like. I will be honest - I am not sure what I am looking for - but I know I don't want the 'country' look or go too traditional. Do I try to match the table, (cherry live edge stained medium brown) or do I go in a different direction all together and try to bring out the colour in the rug?
