Center one piece of art above the sofa, balance out the rest of the wall space with something in the space between the end of the sofa and the door.

Here's what I would like to put there. Thoughts?

It has also been suggested to buy another arched piece and put the picture in the middle and center the entire 3 pieces on the wall. Yes/no?

picture is fairly large, 60" long by 48"

It seems most people seem to go with centering picture behind the couch over centering it on the wall. This must be the more visually correct way.

Just put some items into the picture to get a better idea. Which one works the best?

The big picture looks good centered over the couch. Instead of wall art beside it, how about a lamp on the end table? Or a tall ferny plant?

YES. Buy another arched piece and put the picture in the middle and center the entire 3 pieces on the wall.

Hang your painting off two d-rings mounted on the frame to hold it securely and flat against on the wall. If you must hang off the wire on the back of the picture install two hooks on the wall level and spaced about 5-6" apart to pull the picture flat against the wall. Both arches should also be installed flat against the wall.

Try not to have the works tipping forward. It will lessen the visual impact the three works together on the wall create.

Keep it graphic. Make the installation perfect. Hire a professional art installer. You can find one through a local gallery.

A better alternative below. Why isn't the sofa centered on the wall? Looks like there's plenty of room.

The room looks much more balanced with the sofa moved to the right. I didn't really see it before but it was looking squished against the door.

They are arranged that way because the 2 seater reclines.

The art is wonderful over the couch....perfect size. Can the 2 seater move back so the couch can be centered? I wondered if that was the reason for the placement.

This is a long rectangular room with a seating area (2 chairs and ottoman) facing the fireplace. Opposite the 2 seater is the TV, which is not in the picture.
