You might want to add some colorful rock around the tree's base and paint trim to stand out a bit more.

I'd plant an open, ornamental tree between the door and window--something not solid like the tree on the left (dogwood, Japanese maple, a fruit tree etc.. That would cover the blankness of that wall, which looks like it needs more windows.

Shutters on lower window. Plant a tree on the corner to soften it and it's branches will cover some of the blank space on the facade. Paint the front door to brighten it and draw attention to that side of the house. Coordinate shutter color and door color. Window boxes on two lower windows. On the right side, the window box width should be the window plus the shutters, so that it extends on both sides beyond the window. You could put a black iron (sturdy with visual weight) trellis on the left side of the window and grow climbing roses, clematis.
