Thank you for responding. The house with the blue door seems to have some blue brick, so I don't know if it would look as well on my house. However, that does give me ideas about trying to find an accent color in the brick to highlight the door. It also lets me know that it will look good if the door surround remains white to go with the windows. I think I should use a siding color that blends rather than contrasts with the brick. Then I won't have to worry about whether the color needs to repeat. Thanks again. Let me know if you have any other ideas!

What is on the right side of the house? Maybe a garage where you could repeat the siding color?

Your front yard landscaping would benefit from some evergreens. Be sure to choose and plant them with their final size in mind, and use a variety of colors and shapes. Evergreens come in bright green, blue green, gold etc.

You can also improve the look of your existing concrete walkway by staining it (not painting). Take into account the color that you choose for the paint. I wouldn't go with anything brick red, for example, which would compete with your house. Stick with dark gray or dark gray/brown.

This pewter might work. It has a blue undertone, like your roof.
