We just moved and I am looking for suggestions for our living room. Unfortunately major purchases are not an option. That being said, I know that we need more furniture and an area rug etc.

We are a large family but we have another family room with a sectional etc. The couch in the photo is quite large. As you can see the room is currently very drab. The walls are Benjamin Moore's Muslin. I am not afraid of colour accents but I am not sure what direction to go in. I would like the room to be inviting and casual as it is the first room one sees when walking into the house.

not sure what size carpet or art would work and also what style of end tables etc. I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks so much.
