Is hood not required by code?

Im thinking of a similar setup in my own home and wanted to know if the lack of hood is allowable by code in LA County?

    California Code of Regulations

    Title 24, Part 4

    802.2.2 Appliances Not Required to Be Vented.

    The following appliances shall not be required to be vented [NFPA 54:12.3.2]:

    802.2.2.1 Listed ranges. [NFPA 54:12.3.2(1)]

    802.2.2.2 Built-in domestic cooking units listed and marked for optional venting. [NFPA 54:12.3.2(2)]

    802.2.2.3 Listed hot plates and listed laundry stoves. [NFPA 54:12.3.2(3)]

    802.2.2.4 Listed Type 1 clothes dryers exhausted in accordance with Section 504.3.2. [NFPA 54:12.3.2(4)]
