Due to water damage from a leaky roof, some floorboards have lifted and cupped in our family room. Our house is all hardwood floors and if we sand and refinish, we would have to do the whole house! We went through packing and moving out in 2005 when we did refinish the place. Is there any way to just refinish the family room by putting some kind of decorative strip or something that would help it look like it was a planned and not a mistake? I know the floor guys will want to do a whole house run. I just don't want to have to empty this place AGAIN.
