I would suggest painting your cabinets gray with a blue undertone. This would play off the color of the floor tiles much better.

Are you planing on changing your counters or backsplash. I am not so concerned about the floor as the backsplash. Paint a couple of large pieces of poster board with a sample jar of your choice of color and set them up around the room to see what your think. I really like blue / gray for painted cabinets.

Are you referring to painting the walls or the cabinets?

I think doing a light blue/ gray would work beautifully. You already have enough going on in this kitchen so this will help balance that out.

I would say to use gray paint to tie in the gray from the flooring. Gray will be easier to match if you decide to hang items on the wall.

I would suggest going with a paint color that is similar to your counter top. From what I can see, your gray flooring is of a darker shade, which might be dark for your walls.

Hi! What a lovely room! I don't know whether you want to go more blue or more gray, but here are some Sherwin Williams colors to consider: SW6225 Sleepy Blue, SW6226 Languid Blue, SW6227 Meditative, SW 6519 Hinting Blue. SW 6218 Tradewind and SW 6219 Rain are nice too, with a hint of green to them. Sherwin Williams can also easily match colors from other companies. If you want to go his route, look at Benjamin Moore HC149 Buxton Blue or Valspar 5001-3C Blue Arrow. Always look at the samples in your space! It also helps to get actual sample size containers of your favorites and paint them on your walls in various locations. Look at them during different times of the day to see how they change as the lighting changes. I hope this helps!

It seems there are three shades in the grey family - backsplash, floor and counter. If you add another grey it may just be too much grey and risk clashing? I think if you try some blue shades, maybe they would work. Sherwin-Williams' SW6247 "Krypton" is shown in picture, just to give you an idea.

Sorry I miss read your post on painting your cabinets as well! If it is the walls you are looking to paint, I would go with a deep gray but you MUST get samples as grays can be tricky and seeing the colors in the space is the only way to tell exactly what color will work before you invest. I would recommend something in the deep gray such as Benjamin Moore's Chelsea Gray. ~Rebecca
