One way to get around this issue would be to install an air tub, where water is not circulating through piping, just air. For those keeping whirlpool-type tubes, the air tub is an update that also allows for the use of bath oils and/or bubble bath, which can't be used with the traditional water-circulating whirlpools. Also, the agitation and noise are less.

Thanks for the comment...We want the massaging action of the water jets not the bubbly feel with air jets. anyone ever heard of SANIJET?

we are very serious about purchasing a SANIJET, now Pure Water Baths. Like that you get the massage without any sanitation issues. Haven't been too impressed by air bubble tubs. We are early in our construction process so it won't be installed until July. But we have heard nothing but good things about their tubs.
