How to Decorate a Wall With a World Map

I would like to hang a big world map on a main dining room wall, but am not sure how to pull this off in a tasteful, professional manner. It's a focal point when you walk into the house, and I was hoping it would be a conversation starter.

The wall is big and empty - the map would be around 8' wide by 4' or 5' high.


Any ideas?
