Hello all,

I live in North Texas and just started organic lawncare 1 year ago. My problem is identifying these weeds that have started in the front yard and now has made its way to the back. My concern is the small patches in the best part of the yard for grass. Can you please help my identify? Is there a solution to killing them and helping them stop spreading?

The first picture is the same weed that started growing in my front yard last year, now it has grown to overtake half of it.

I used corn meal gluten back in the fall but it didnt seem to be effective.

Please help!
