You are correct that the Monogram appliances look good but it ends there. My brand new French door Monogram refridgerator arrived with a bad icemaker, non working freezer and a light out. The doors make a loud bang when closed, and the shelves are poorly designed. GE service came to my home to repair, and then told me the brand spanking new refridgerator (2 weeks ago) had a bad board and none were available as this is a brand new model. GE ageeed to swap out the refridgerator for a model of my choice, but would not refund me if I chose a lower cost appliance. So in the end I did get a new refridgerator, and while it is a lesser cost, it does work better. Here is GE one of the world's largest companies and they refused to refund me on a clearly defective appliance. Poor customer support.

I had a Viking built in refridgerator before and Viking was a far better design.

I was going to buy a Sub Zero but had my arm twisted by the decorator to stay with one brand. Expensive lesson!
