Hi Lamar: The hanging bed is built to hold a queen sized mattress. It is a wonderful place to have a nap. Attached are some drawings of the bed part. The trellis work is built from 8x8 fir columns, 3x8 purlins, 3x6 trellis members and 3x3 members to fasten the hanging chains to.
