From the pic it appears to be installed correctly. I might have suggested to build the crown out the thickness of the tile and continue the crown around the shower, over the tile, so you would not get the finish you have. Provided they have coped the crown, this would be a easy process as you would only have to remove the installed pcs at the corner and above window. If the crown is mitered then this would not work.
