Yesterday when driving around Blount County, I noticed some yellow daffodils blooming. I am trying to figure out what they are...They seem to be all yellow, or possibly a bright yellow cup with lighter yellow petals, and they have a very pronounced nod/droop. All the ones I've seen are in clumps under or near hardwood trees (i.e., not in "beds" or "borders"). Are these a form of what people called "Lent lilies" (Narcissus pseudonarcissus)? Thanks, K.
