I finished the quilt. I stipple quilted all-over in black thread and then I used a blue variegated pearl cotton to do the big stitch quilting. The triangles are from the video game Zelda which my GS loves.

That is one lucky GS! It is a beautiful quilt.

I'm not one that is fond of black in my quilts, but that Harvest Moon design could make me change my mind. It is gorgeous! So, do you mean that you stippled on the brights and then did the big stitch quilting on the black? Love the triangles too!

Yes, I stippled all over the quilt in the colors and blacks. Then I did the big stitching in only the black areas.

I purchased the pattern. It is called Harvest Moon by Cynthia Schrader. It is an uneven log cabin pattern.
