need help for my basement

The basement is an L shape and we love to entertain. Need paint color and window treatments, kind of partial to blues. Furniture is going to be replaced, not sure if it will be sofa or sectional. The tv can be moved and we need an area for my babies to play. The carpet is going to stay for now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
