Brookhaven vs Decora Cabinets

Hi,

I am gutting my kitchen and have quotes on cherry cabinets with painted island in Decora with plywood (standards), standard Brookhaven, and Brookhaven with Plywood. There is about $8000.00 difference between Decora and Brookhaven w/plywood. I have been told that standard Brookhaven is adequate which is priced in the middle of the two. Any comments or your experience with either brand is greatly appreciated!!

I used Brookhaven on my own kitchen. Lots of doors and drawers! It's been 12 years and they still look new. I entertain large groups often. I absolutely would recommend Brookhaven.

Brookhaven. My glazed cherry kitchen cabinets are still drawing Wows after 8 years--look like new.

Brookhaven white cabinets. Actually cabinets are perfect after 15 years but need to repainted doors now.

Thank you all so much. We have selected Brookhaven Cabinets Pelham Manor recessed and are using Vintage Lace for the "white". Still undecided on the cherry stain. Our kitchen planner, Megan Laforge from Douglas Lumber has been great. She ordered sample doors which have arrived ... We just need to have final approvals! This is truly a labor of love!

I used Douglas Lumber to order my Brookhaven too. Small world. Make sure you grab all your samples - stone - tile - floor and group them together in your kitchen space for final confirmation!

Has anyone used Decora? I am still having such a hard time deciding between Decora and Brookhaven. Brookhaven sounds great but Decora is about 2 thousand less.
