My grandmother gave me this bulb last Christmas and it sort of kicked off my Amaryllis obsession. It came in a box kit, but I know it was not labelled as a Apple Blossom or Red Lion became I'd had those ones before and I was familiar with them. It MIGHT have been labelled as a Minerva but obviously is not a Minerva- or it might have been labelled as something else entirely and I just don't remember. It's a lovely solid deep red, but has bits of white at the tips of flowers and a bit of white stripe in places.
