It seems to sound wrong, but in Houzz photos of small rooms, "more"seems to fit small places. Recently, I saw a photo of a very small three-wall living room area with a sectional sofa that took up two walls! It works because the lighting was wall-mounted and the small coffee table was the only table in the room. The third wall was a fireplace with perhaps built-in bookcases. You can have several guests with an L sectional, more than you could seat on a small sofa and a chair. The long part of the sectional could even work as a guest bed if the back pillows come off.
