How about a very light color, instead of thinking in terms of neutrals, such as a light sage or spring green, warm blue or aqua, or similar?

Thank you! I have tried some greens but so far, none hit the mark. In some light of the day, it takes on a distinct yellow tone and at other times a red tone. I am baffled. I recently brought home BM's gray mirage (92142-50), but it seems to go a bit "flat" next to the cabinets. Beach glass (1564) and blue stream also disappoint. Stonington gray is not bad...but, I think it is the red undertone that keeps fighting with the colors I bring home. I don't mind the color at all, on it's own, I just can't seem to move away from it with any success. I am beginning to think I will need to paint the rest of the kitchen, dining and hallways biscuit, too, but was hoping for a more light and airy direction. It's not only paint color, I have to choose, but a backsplash as well.
