Outdoor patio missing something

I need ideas for what to put over the patio fireplace. It is wired for a television, which I don't want, so I need to cover the outlets. The cushions are new and bring a welcome pop of color to an otherwise dark patio, so I've considered adding color above the fireplace, but I'm not sure the flower looks right. I do have some white furniture that I'm going to repaint neutral. I'll possibly do small tables with a bright color and add some other accents when I'm done. Thanks for sharing any ideas.

Some greenery would be nice. Bring in some flowers and ivy or ferns in a variety of pot. Maybe add some differing heights of candlesticks or some lanterns. Hang an antique sign over the fireplace or make your own.

An art piece half again as large as the one currently propped up would look perfect!

Thank you, everyone! I agree that it needs some greenery. I want to wait a couple more weeks for a final freeze so I don't have to mess with bringing it back in. I moved the big flower over to the wall where the cross is. I'll keep looking for something for over the fireplace. It has to be big enough to cover the outlets. I ended up painting the tables red and they look great!

Look at GreatBig Canvas for art. Go light and only you can pick your art, but if you cannot decide, go with a light colored abstract.

White furniture, but don't paint it neutral . Your current set matches the bricks. You need some white.

Don't scream..but I think there is too much matching brick..Consider painting the brick or...covering the fireplace with some complimenting stone...or reclaimed lumber....

I don't think a simple piece of art will solve this...

A vertical garden over the fireplace would really spruce up your space and continue the pop of color you have going on.
