Painting your stucco, garage and garage doors would add a lot. Here are some ideas for colors that look good with red brick.

Definitely you have a mid century modern house with great bones - congrats! Are you willing to paint brick, if so, the cedar siding look / horizontal would pair great with some of the charcoal tones I see on your trim and something mid tone gray on the brick. If not, I can't recommend your brick and cedar tones together . .

I would have suggested you trim rather than remove that shrub . . mature though it was ..

the path to your entry forms a little courtyard that is bettered with some green . . nothing worse than concrete going right up the the side of a house and you have that here on the other side . . lighting in here will be very important - you may be able to place eave lighting on the garage that washes down that wall and provides something indirect and architectural. . you can plant back something architectural and vertical there . . horsetail might not be your zone but ask the nurseryman, and bed it after planting with black river pebbles for a contemporary look.

For now, the unusual placement of the windows and vent on the front elevation makes me want to suggest a color blocking there . . where you would add some trim and break up the front . . .let me draw it and bring it back to you .. then I'll get around to color .. . if you stain / let the cedar weather to gray it could be nice as an accent here even with the natural brick . .

You need warm grays instead of the blue grays with this brick or it will seem too traditional / patriotic / kendall charcoal trim, bm sea haze for the large stucco area and bm secret for the blocked out area I show - it will make sense of the off kilter front / vent / window help the courtyard seem more wide because of the perspective line it draws to the front door area . .

if you painted the brick, you would use the bm secret on the brick below but the deeper amherst gray on the brick wall facing the path in - like an accent backdrop there . .

if you don't paint the brick the front door should be a bright pink red to echo it .. if you do . . a teal like bm venezuelan sea . .

does it matter that they are different sizes?

shouldn't matter, we have increased windows sizes on many projects as well as create door openings leading out to a Juliet balcon's its amazing what little details do to enhance curb appeal, lots of potential here :) just make sure its done by somebody who knows what they are doing.

Consider a clean, pergola with simple lines to accentuate and articulate the path to the front door. Do NOT go with shutters (colonial is the wrong direction and will make it look cheap.) You might think about painting the brick a darker shade and the main house a lighter shade. Enjoy the off-center apex of the roof line. Play with that in the angles of the pergola. I would put some $$ and thinking in to pavers or other creative overhaul of that massive driveway which is how people approach your house. Or if it is in good shape do a lovely curving walkway adjacent. What a fun project.

HI -- Congrats on your first home ! .... I have a different approach to what you could do for this house . Continue the house roof line over to a new roof on the garage joining then both . then close in the center section ( maybe include a skylight ) to make an entrance into the house . Nice glass and door/doors . Then paint the white to "Ranchwood " by Benjamin Moore paints to go with the brick .
