My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What materials are used around the fireplace? Fire-resistant drywall?

    It is just regular drywall we install the entire panel with no seams around the firebox and then limit the mud used. Also it important to review the output BTU on the fireplaces as they are getting increasingly hotter. This unit we installed with a fan unit as well to drive heat away from the face and mantel area.
