Is that like Kashmir Gold?

It must have some of the same characteristics of Kashmir Gold. It's mostly soft creams and gray with a subtle wavy movement.

The last two Kashmere tops I've seen haven't worn well at all. The first had some sort of contamination that would have required poulticing all the tops. Here's a picture of the second with all the gloss worn off around the sink on a top less than a decade old. I'm not saying it's all like this, just what I've seen:

I just picked leathered Kashmir Cream for my kitchen countertops, I love the subtle colors and wavy pattern. I Went for leathered specifically due to concern of etching... I absolutely love the look! Anyone else considering this stone?

I'm the one who started this thread 2 1/2 years ago. I finally learned there had been a issue with this stone from a particular quarry a few years ago. With reassurance from my vendor, I went ahead and installed it, leathered. After more than two years living with it, I'm happy to report that I am still delighted with it. I can report two negatives. One is that a suction cup (for a veggie spiralizer) will not stick to it. The other is that although it is not at all difficult to clean, it's hard to notice crumbs on it! Congratulations, I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice.
