The stone used for backsplash is tumbled travertine from Statements in Seattle.

Thank you. What is the center horse stone and where could I find it?

That is an old fireplace iron fireback. The company still makes them. The Country Iron Foundry, 1-800-233-9945. You can request a catalog. There is another company, The Adams Company in Iowa, you can find them on line. What was so great about the one used on this kitchen was that it had been used in a fireplace for 20 years, so it had great patina.

Can you tell me how you installed the fireback? We are doing something similar in our kitchen. thank you.

The homeowner had their tile man install the fireback. My tile man was not doing the work on that job so I am not sure what they used to install the fireback.
