I think some white appliances would look better, because your kitchen is more antique. Stainless steel would lose that style, and white appliances would give it a nicer look!

I actually think both white and stainless would work fine. Stainless would give your kitchen a crisp look (the painted parts of your kitchen would look chic) while white would give your kitchen a quaint look (the painted parts would look bohemian).

i dont usually recommend white as stainless is more vanilla, you can take your cabinets dark and not have to change appliances. but if you have no intention of going dark, a white fridge works better for you than stainless would.

The problem with retro new appliances is that they may not be a standard size and are expensive! So if those are not an option, I'd stick with white. I love my white appliances and never regretted I didn't follow the trend of SS.

how about black to accent your other black lines and items
