Master bath refresh

We did a complete gut job in our master. Unfortunately have no old pictures as this was our first Reno so did not remember to take pictures.

We basically got rid of the wall paper. We expanded our shower using the maximum space we could get. We kept the same layout added a drop in tub and changed out the vanity lights and floors. We also add a storage closet using dead space in the wall.

A year later we are still in awe of it and enjoy it.

I can see you put a lot of time in putting this together. I think the mosaic tile accent, dark stone mosaic shower floor, plank tile flooring, and busy granite counter fight with each other a bit. I would prefer to see only one or two of the surfaces so busy and the rest blend in more.

Retroearth thanks for your comment. At no point more than 2 materials are in close proximity. The granite has even design and compliments the grey tiles. As far as the pebble choice it was for more comfort on the feet and more safer ( traction) again the closest material is the grey tiles which is very complementary and the mosaic tile has enough black in it to complement - none the less it is far up in the shower.

Again this is DIY project where I sourced everything myself and had a GC do the labor. I am not designer by any means. Designers want 25k - my spend was 7k including all materials.

I think looks awesome not busy at all some people prefer contrast white others prefer a monotone approach to decorating it's all personal taste .... Beautiful job !
