We never used Volga blue. While the photo shows black absolute polished, of late we've been using it with a "leathered" finish.

The color tones are warm and the black hardware and granite tie it all together nicely!

Thank you for responding, but I'm not sure how it relates to my question, which was "Will Volga blue polished show less smudge, water stains, etc. than polished absolute black? The Volga blue has more texture than the absolute, but many are commenting on the black countertops looking bad because of these issues.
