Logically, on a bed. Otherwise, do you have a vaulted living or family room where it could serve as a visual filler high above the living space?

Your quilt is beautiful!! My mother used to quilt and would add velcro to the back of the quilt and to the wall. But sometimes I think she actually even nailed them straight to the wall (right through the fabric)... I know, crazy! I think what most people do now is if it is a smaller quilt, add some fabric loops or tabs to the back and hang with those, but if it is a larger quilt, they create what is known as a fabric "sleeve" through which a dowel can be inserted. If you didn't want to go that route, how about a dowel/curtain rod using drapery rings with clips?

IMO best and only way to display is on a bed.
