is this your kitchen? I would use a stainless sink to go with your stainless appliances. I'm not too familiar with white granites since I tend to dislike white granites. I would go to a stone yard and start looking at slabs of granite. I would look for a whit granite that coordinates with the dark wood cabinets and your flooring.

white Springs granite would look gorgeous in there with an eased edge. You could do a metered waterfall edge on the side of the peninsula cabinet to give it a more contemporary substantial look.
