Thought I would start a separate sign-up thread for the retreat. We would love to have new folks join us.

Ok, gals, We are finalizing the plans for Retreat.

The 10th annual 2015 Quilt Retreat will be held Sep. 3- 6, 2015, Thurs thru Sun. We will be using the Guenther Lodge at the Holston Retreat Center as mentioned & linked in the previous posts. These are hotel style rooms, some with private baths, some with semi-private. The rooms share the same building as the sewing space, which also has a complete kitchen.

Cost will be $75 per person, per night unless you decide to share a room, in which case you can split the costs. As we get closer, we will work out our private meal plan, and will let you know the cost of food for the weekend....I don't expect it to be significant.

There will be a $50 deposit to secure your spot. It would be helpful for planning purposes, if you would put that in the mail to Beverly promptly, since we need to pay a deposit to the retreat center. You can message her directly if you need her mailing address.

We understand that the change in weekend precludes some 'regulars' from coming. We will certainly miss you, but hope that 2016 we will be able to pick a weekend with more notice so that you can come!

Please also let us know by posting here if you intend to sign up and send a deposit.

I hate to say it, but I won't make it this year. That is my week with the kids and right after school starts up. If it's anything like this year, it will be very busy!! save me a spot next year.

I had hoped to join you this first year of my retirement, but the change in timing has proven problematic. I don't think I will be able to make it this year. I hope we can do it later next year.

We will certainly miss everyone who can't make it this year. We hope this new place works out well, and that we can get on the 2016 schedule early & perhaps with our usual weekend.

We are up to 7 (6 quilters and 1 hubby). There is still lots of time, we don't have to give numbers till we get there, so please feel free to sign up at any time.
