Tristan, I'm not sure what the dimensions are, but you can try doing something like this, move WD forward, open the rest of the wall to make a bathroom wider, perhaps add a few more cabinets, maybe there is enough room for linen closet in front of the vanities,etc. Here is a layout to give you an idea

i like your second rendering. it looks like still room to drop off dirty clothes, and Ilike the seperate entrance. heck if you wanted you could put a powder bath in there too lol. dont do the closet, things over flow into the hall.
