I'm very new at machine embroidery and will probably have many questions and hope you will please indulge me as I move along learning all the ins and outs, rights and wrongs.

I've been downloading designs from the web. I see some that are very cute and just what I need except for the writing, for example. Is there an easy way to eliminate parts of a design I don't want? I have a Brother se400 and I use the Brother Basic-PED card reader and card to copy and save downloaded designs.
