need help with colur selection

This is our upper level living/family area ( picture taken from the top of the stairs. Am not very happy with color selection. Please either recommend what can work with it, or if need changing please recommend color of choice. flooring will be cherry type-color hardwood. hardwood staircase will be cherry with metal balusters.
