Countertops refrigerator

Looking for the largest counter depth fridge I can find that is both useful & reliable. Was told that was the LG French door freezer on the bottom model (24CF) model LFXC24726S fit this bill. Does anyone have that model and have issues? Or other suggestions?

Joe, when you say "non dispenser" do you mean NEITHER external NOR interior (side) dispenser?

I have what I think is one of the larger CD refrigerators with an internal water dispenser- the KA Architect II French Door.

I got the pro handles, too.

Stay away from the external dispensers. Most of the issues have to do with the icemaker in the fresh food compartment. The internal dispenser models only have a water spout in the fresh food compartment (not much to go wrong there) with the icemaker in the freezer.

The GE Profile PWE23KMDES, 23 cubic feet, counter depth, was Consumer Reports' top 3-door French Door fridge: $2600, 84 points in their ranking (84 was their highest score for any style fridge this year).

Interior dispensers are ok, just nothing with an external water and ice dispensers

kitchengirl, thanks for the info - i'm a little worried that ALL the reviews under this GE Profile model in consumer reports are bad...really bad...all 1 stars...

I was looking at the GE Profile as well. Anyone know why consumer reports shows the total usable capacity as only 16.0 cu ft? so much smaller than the 23.1 cu ft claimed by GE

The manufacturers always find loopholes that let them overstate capacity

I feel like I've looked in every CD fridge out there - MANY look very much the same....it's very interesting that for most appliances, the reviews are bad. it's really going to be which fridge (or any appliance for that matter) seems to have the best reviews. I wish consumer reports was more accurate...

EI23BC30KS - Basic Electrolux is a good option. You should pay to most reasonable dealers around $2k

The PWE23KSDSS if you negotiate should come in around $2200

FGHG2366PF is a cheaper version of the Electrolux. I prefer the Electrolux for the nicer interior and longer parts warranty. The Frigidaire you should be able to buy around $1800

Joe, nice suggestions - how do these compare to the Bosch B22CT80SNS?

The B22CT is the same as the kitchenaid KFCS22. Both are ok but much more money. The inside of them is smaller than the others (We keep a large platter around the showroom, it fits in the Electrolux units...not the K/A or Bosch).

The B22 will come in around $2800 and the KFCS22 version is $2600
