Had long drapes up but I felt it closed the room in a very small room thanks.

Hi NC, you've done a good job with such an affordable budget....not a lot of folks can do what you've done, including myself! :-)

And yes it's a little difficult to see all of the details in the room very well with the photos posted above. I do agree with Ann about the drapes.....maybe something that could be changed later? If the longer drapes you had installed before were a dark/solid color, perhaps something in a lighter colored sheer would work for you or even some (Roman/woven) shades?

As for the leopard, it looks like there's leopard in your sofa and chairs fabric plus the lumbar pillows (on the chairs). Just in general, I personally like to see a sofa and chairs in a different (yet coordinating) fabric (with the chairs matching each other but not the sofa). So yes to me, having all the upholstered pieces in the same fabric would be "too much".

My suggestion would probably be to change the fabric in either the sofa or chairs (to a coordinating solid). Then I would place the art you have (with the animal print) on the wall above whichever upholstered piece(s) were changed to the solid fabric, just to help tie in both sides of the room. (Or if budget allows, bring in a new sofa or new chairs with a solid coordinating fabric altogether).

If those options are something you wouldn't consider, then perhaps I would just change the lumbar pillows on the chairs or remove them altogether.

Anyway, these are just suggestions....looking forward to seeing what you decide to do. Regardless, good job on all of your finds!

Avery thanks. Maybe a cream color for the chairs the same color as carpet. What do you think? I need to find 95 inch curtains in the same color that is at window now the length will hit the floor. 84 inch curtains look like high waters at that window. that's why I chose café style curtains :)

Great job both with the room and managing your budget! Our suggestion would be to leave the sofa in a solid color, so the accent chairs can really make the room pop.

Cream would be very pretty. And even the red that you have in your pillows and drapes would look very nice as well IMO. But, if you'd like a fabric that will give you more flexibility with decor changes in the long run, then yes...the cream is a great choice. :-) Then you could still place the same leopard lumbar pillows on them to help tie all if your upholstered pieces together, without it feeling like there's "too much".

PS....I hope Ann replies with some more feedback too. I just know from other "dilemmas" that she's got a great eye.

Thanks everyone for advice. Those are throws on the little couch bench and chairs that I purchased at walmart for $ 5.00 a piece what a quick fix to old furniture, that I stained with rust- oleum wood stain.

Wow, you did a lovely job. I also agree the drapery do not go with the other lovely furniture you have. Also, I don't know if you are planning on keeping the pic, but the little corner white bits need to be taken off. Maybe you left them on, in case you wanted to return same after asking houzzers. Congrats again.

I think the room is fun and funky. Not too much leopard; it works here. I agree the curtains should go to the floor, but what bothers me more is the sheerness and the rod pocket tops. They seem a bit too froufrou for this room. I would replace them with a really chunky burlap curtain hung with rings and clips.

this is how it look with the long curtains . Also changed the center piece on table didn't like the long curtains made the room look heavy to me maybe it was the color of the curtains.

I think you did an spectacular job for 155. I would re-do the couch in velvet, you could do re, black, blue-green, yellow , bruin orange, cream. And eventually get a larger carpet. I would check out ikea curtains (98) let them pool. I would also paint the center table gold. Nice job
