Most marble distributors will give the granite their own names. They are usually not too far off from how they purchase it but it could be entirely different. We have come across what appeared to be the same granite from two different distributors and they had entirely different names. The buyer should always ask for a picture to be sent, or better still, go to see the granite and select the slabs in person for the best luck of getting what you want.
