Ha anyone encountered pull chain metal air here's in an older house? We're trying to figure out if it is better to pull them down and find a way to retire them versus either finding a different type of grate or finding a replacement metal grate. Also, has anyone been able to find any of these grates around in a size greater than 13"? One of our gates is about 16", which is presenting a challenge.
