You sure do know your products - most impressed! Those porcelain floor tiles are semi-polished and they are rectified, having a smoothed manufacturers edge. When using a true, natural stone tile, like slate or marble, leaving the natural edge intact is preferred, for it lends to that organic look. But for ceramic or porcelain (as are these) tiles in a kitchen or bathroom, uniform sizes and precision installation are important, so rectified edges are appreciated.

I have not seen the semi polished in this tile? Is it a high gloss or more of a satin finish. I am using in bathroom and don't want it to be too slippery? Have you used the semi polished in this tile in bath or would you avoid that?

Semi-polished gives it a satin finish. But it still has texture and "grip" so is used in bathrooms, as well. Other than outdoor pavers, most indoor tile has some type of polish or finish to it, because a raw, untouched finish would be an undesirable cleaning and maintenance issue. You should be able to safely and properly use this tile in a bathroom.
