Is that on the rim of the pot ?
If so I don't think that it is cut worm. CW live in the soil. That bug looks like pill bug. If so they don't pose a danger, me thinks.

It's on the rim of the pot just because it's the best one I could get a pic of. There are also several all over the plant.

These dudes are small - next to a dime for comparison.

They may be some sort of beneficial larvae. I got a pic of this one who appears to be eating an aphid - I've seen a few others doing the same thing

With your eating observation and that itsy bitsy little pic, I'd call it a lacewing larva.

I wish I would have taken a before and after pic! They did more in one day than I did all winter getting rid of these aphids. Super cool!

At first look, I was thinking lacewing larva also. But then you mentioned that there were a bunch...usually lacewings larvae will scatter when hatched. Which is a good thing since, if there's no food around, they'll start chowing down on their siblings. If you happen to notice more than a couple per plant, try to relocate them to plants(with aphids et al) but no lacewings present. Also is a good idea to plant some flowers to keep the adults fed to keep future generations coming. Lacewing larvae are probably the single most beneficial general predators one wants in their arsenal. Good idea to check out pics of their eggs...quite unique.
