I need advice about a narrow dining table

Hello,

I have a very narrow space in my house where I can put a dinning table. We do not have a kitchen table, only dinning area. I can not seem to find a table about 75 - 80 cm wide, so I am thinking of making a table myself from some repurposed objects? Any ideas out there? Irena

How strange. IKEA has many tables starting at 75cm wide? Have you looked online at their range?

I'd look for a console table or desk without storage instead of a dining table.

Thank you for all the comments. Yes, Ikea has some narrow tables but I also want my table to be long, ie. to sit 6-8 people and have an eclectic look.

I found a solution! Ikea sells solid wood butcher blocks, 6 and 8 feet long. About 60 cm width. Now I just need to find some good pedestal legs!

Hello! I'm considering transforming a similarly narrow wood piece into a dining table. Did the 60cm width work for you? If so, do guests sit on both sides comfortably? Thanks!
