Do you have a main color scheme picked out? Teal, coral, yellow, black & white are great in Mid Century Modern homes. Think very minimal. Do you want drapes in the dining area?

If so, go with grommet top drapes from Ikea hang from just below the ceiling down to the floor in a wheat loose weave style, to let in as much light as possible. Liking things so far?.

Thank you so much for your speedy responses! The color scheme is as follows : tan, charcoal/black, cool white, smokey blues, and pops of pink/peach. Brass and wood accents.

I've picked out about 3 different pieces for each space, but really need suggestions on furniture layout. Mostly, what makes most sense for the size of the room.

We've gone back and forth between a sofa on the long wall, 2 chairs in front of the windows, and then another sofa breaking up the space between living/dining…
