Paint Help again

Please help with advice, green butterfly granite, beige subway glass tile backsplash, and white ceilings. Should I paint walls to match the subways tile, close to the same beige ?

That may create too much beige. What do other posters think. My PC does not reflect true colors so I probably should not comment on color choices, however I'm just going from what you say, William.

Thank you, your the first to comment, I kind of need assistance quickly, my appliances will be delivered on this thursday and I would love to have the walls painted.

Sorry they are covered, they are called Palm Beach Chocolate color.

I would be inclined to paint the walls at least a few shades darker than the backsplash.

Thank you everyone, the dark cabinets call for a lighter wall color, at least thats what I've seen in most of the pictures I've seen here.

I was assuming the subway tile was going to be pretty light, and agree that you need to keep things light on the walls, but you need some contrast. What are you doing about lighting, because that will also help keep things brighter.

Not sure on lighting yet, small LED lights on a bar is what I was thinking on.

I would suggest you paint the walls a very light, neutral blue as blue is the complementary color for brown. The blue will contrast beautifully from all the brown and beige in the room and will add light and freshness to the color scheme. You also might add a few blue accessories, such as vases, blue stripes on white dish towels and hand towels, blue potholders, and hot pads. You also might find dishes and wall art with some blue in them.

Blue, never thought about blue, even with green granite ?

Yes, a very light neutral blue will go with green, and the granite looks like a very dark color in the photo.
