What's up with the line margins?

When reading with the text set as I usually have it (110% of default), the lines are getting cut off at the end. Also, when I'm trying to comment, the text moves to the left on the same line instead of wrapping, and the submit button disappears. I can "fix" both problems by making the text smaller, but I don't want it that small. My computer is an iMac and browser is Chrome for OSX. Screenshots:
