@lefty47 , thanks for the advice! The fact that people prefer to have brand names showing I think represents a troubling issue with our culture. I don't see why I would want somebody else's name on my personal belongings.

when polo shirts first started having logos, my father in law would cut the alligators off of his with fine scissors. i'd sew them onto my lab coats, made me look 20 kinds of awesome.

So assuming you cannot remove the Ronbow name - which I also find annoying - would it be better to install the sink with the drain towards the front of the vanity (so you only see the drain holes & the Ronbow name in the mirror, in reverse, or leave the drain holes in the back where you have to see the annoying name AND the drain holes.

Or maybe use Testor's paint on them, and put the drain in the front?

Probably should have bought generic sinks, I suppose, but it's really annoying.

HI - Heard from someone the other day that really needed to know where the kitchen cabinets were from in their new to them home ,- because they need some more and new doors to replace some damaged ones . But alas no markings or labels or brands to be found anywhere . This will now be a very big problem for them . I think this whole fixation on brand names is silly. More important things to fuss over these days !

email the company service rep on line and request that they replace the ones you have; should be no problem doing that for you. Money takes care of everything like this every day. I would think they have custom lines.

Just had my master done, and I'm looking at both the sink and faucet manufacturer's names. Fortunately, they aren't so prominent but it does bug me.

I don't mind the brand name on my sink if it appears BEHIND the faucet. If I had the pictured sink ..... if there's room, I have a small soap holder (the type you can use to raise your soap so it doesn't melt under the shower) that has little suction cups on it and I would put this over the label and put a pretty bar of soap on it.

HI -- They did check everywhere and found nothing . Actually my own cabinets do not have a label or brand anywhere but I know where they came from ,because I designed the kitchen . The company factory burned to the ground several years ago and did not start up again . I always wondered why a high end cabinet company never labeled their products ... seems odd to me . I think having a name or label on something shows it's quality . It's just informative . And I am not a brand /label snob .

I had the same issue with a Duravit logo on sink, easily removed it with fine sandpaper. didn't harm the glaze at all

no, I don't think I'd try it on chrome.

I purchased a MTI Andrea 19 bathtub and while none of their pictures of this bathtub on their website showed a brand name on the tub, when I received the product, their brand logo on a thick slap is placed on the bathtub rim on the faucet side. See image. I don't mind brand logos as long they are out of sight, but this one is hard to ignore. Anyone know how to remove this logo without damaging the product?

I could make you a custom solid surface faucet escutcheon to cover it.

I just received two Barclay Rosa undermount sinks for our master bath. No photo of this sink online, on any site, shows a logo. The logo is Franz Viegener, not Barclay, with its pretty little swan, visible at the top center of the back of the sink, low enough so that it wont be shadowed by the countertop. If the label wasn't applied crooked, I suppose I could get used to it, one of them slants up from left to right ever so slightly. The other slants down left to right much more prominantly, which I'm sure will slowly drive me insane. Barclay must have bought out Franz Viegener's sink line. I wish they would have removed the logo as well. Any suggestions to remove it without damaging or should I just return them? I searched a long time for this particular size to fit the dresser I'm re-purposing to a vanity.

pplant - were your sinks porcelain? I have American Standard on mine and want to remove it ... very large and very annoying. I thought it was a sticker in the showroom but it wasn't!!

Amy R - I removed a large Jacuzzi logo plate/sticker by working a piece of nylon fishing line under it and "sawing" back and forth, gently and slowly cutting through adhesive. It eventually popped off and I was able to clean the remaining glue with a cleanser designed to dissolve goo gone.

With my Ronbow sink, I ended up just installing it with the logo on the room side of the sink - so it was visible in the mirror, but not as you looked at the sink from the room.

Decided I didn't want to risk making it look even worse by trying to remove it or scrape it off. For me, this was an acceptable compromise - but obviously, with some sinks it wouldn't work.

(PS - in a similar vein, I also require car dealers to remove their dealer logos from any new car I buy, or no sale....)

did you ever get rid of the Ronbow label on your sink? If so, how? I just got a Ronbow sink and the label was bothering me (it’s prominent). I scratched it with my fingernail to see if I could remove it and I chipped some of it off but now I can’t get the rest off. So I have a chipped looking label right on the top of my sink! help!

Hi Brenda. I actually did...kinda! So I ended up painting over it with a special porcelain touch up paint which you can get on Amazon. That worked ok. I taped it off carefully so it just kinda looked like a small, slightly whiter rectangle. Still somewhat noticeable. That lasted for about a year and then a piece of the paint chipped off revealing part of the label underneath. When I went to scrape the rest of the paint off with a painter's tool so that I could redo it, part of the label chipped off as well, just like yours. And then I just carefully chipped off the rest. I'm not sure what tool I used to finish it off, mighta been a mini phillips head screw driver, but I just kept at it slow and steady and it came off cleanly. It still left an etching as you can see in the first photo, but it is honestly not apparent from any viewing distance as you can see in the slightly zoomed out second photo. It sounds like your label might be more prominent than mine, but if you've already started my advice is to keep chipping carefully away! I'm a perfectionist as you might've guessed, and I'm happy with how it looks.

I am dealing with a similar problem with a solid tub I just received. Waiting to hear back from Wayfair on if it can be removed. Disconcerting that they don’t show labels in photo’s.

"There is a piece of black sanding sponge in the box, which can be used to remove black marks. In addition, use it to wipe the logo a little harder, the logo can be removed."

We haven’t started construction yet so I don’t have a review yet. I didn’t look for or try the sponge yet either. I think I will just get over it or through a pestamel over it. How do u like yours so far? Price was great for resin. Use it in good health!

Did anyone try WD40 penetrating oil? Hubby always says WD40 cleans lots of things. It won’t hurt the porcelain. I know it is great on removing stubborn stains on my stovetop.

I recently purchased a console sink and faucet made by Swiss Madison. To my dismay, both have imprinted (non-sticker) logos. One logo is obnoxious enough, but now I will have two within inches of one another. I contacted Swiss Madison to see if they could recommend a removal method, but got a flat "no" as a response. I would not have purchased these items had I known about this tasteless advertising, and now it is too late to return them. I will try a few of the non-damaging removal tips mentioned here, but seriously, these manufacturers need to get a clue and stop this tacky practice.

I didn’t see this logo until after the sink was installed. I too would have made another selection. Can hide it with soap dispenser, but would rather have it disappear.
