i like your paper but not with your backsplash, they are from two different worlds. but if you like it thats fine with me. leave it in the sitting area. maybe remove the tiny bit over the window and leave the soffit. its an older style but that has nothing to do with how you enjoy your space.

as far as counter accessories, choose a 2 or 3 color palette and try to stay in bounds. my kitchen has white cabinets, a black and white floor, the walls are yellow. since my mixer was red, i've kept red as my color for kitchen towels.

The counters and backsplash look beautiful! But the wallpaper needs to go. Can you post a pic of the sitting area that also has wallpaper?

What would you suggest for color once the wall paper is removed?
