What furniture do you have? Any pic?

Focus on the FP. No loveseats though - they always throw the balance off. Use two chairs instead for easier arranging, along with a 3- seater sofa. FP looks wired for TV but maybe the side wall is as well. I'd rather see art above the FP and the TV above a credenza on the right. Put a pair of chairs on the window side with sofa facing FP. You'll need a sofa table and a side table to go with chairs. Add a hassock/coffee table, lamps and an area rug large enough to slip under the front 1/3 of the sofa and extend past it by at least one foot on each side.

The fireplace is a good idea as a focal point, but if you are planning on having a T.V it will not be ideal. You could place your sofa in front of the window wall with a chair to the right in front of the stairs facing the fire place. The wall next to the fireplace you could have a chaise lounge.
