Only choose one: Tile on Bathroom Floor or Shower Stall?

We are remodeling a bathroom and trying to stretch our budget. As a result, we can choose a tile floor (probably hex tile or marble chevron) AND acrylic shower stall...OR...marmoleum floor and subway tile in the shower stall. Which would be your choice?

I would do the tile floor ,acrylic showers are so easy to keep clean and you will see the floor all the time.

I agree with Patricia. I'd rather not clean tile in the shower.

Could you get a discount on a large format tile for both and an acrylic shower pan for less grout? Small tile or pebbles would make the shower floor easier to make slope but harder to clean. Struggling with same choices.
