I'm considering painting my kitchen cabinets and replacing the backsplash for a refreshed look. I'm leaning towards a cream color for the cabinets and love the look of subway tiles (herringbone pattern??). But I'd love to hear suggestions and ideas! I'm keeping current countertops so need to coordinate with the dark granite. I also love the look of open shelves instead of the upper cabinets on either side of the hood....not sure if I'm brave(neat) enough to pull it off!
